About Us and our Self Storage Facilities

Built in 1971 as a joint project between Kim Matzdorf and William Neal, Wee Willie Warehouses was one of DFW’s first mini-storage facilities. Located on 2 acres in Richardson’s Telecom Corridor, the property originally featured one acre of mini-storage space and one acre of outside car and boat storage.

Due to the consistently full occupancy status and waiting lists, in 1989 the back acre was converted from parking storage to inside mini storage units. This move resulted in the addition of 142 new indoor storage units. Wee Willie has remained a family venture since the beginning, employing both children and grandchildren in the operation. As a family owned and operated business, we take pride in the security and attractiveness of our property, and strive to make the off-storage rental experience a pleasant one for each of its customers.
